Welcome to the 2024 Summer Swim Season!

We are writing as new team representatives and are looking forward to a great season and working with all of you. Today we learned that we have moved up to Division 7. We will host both A and B meets throughout the summer along with Divisionals. More information is available on the NVSL website and on our SwimTopia site.

Coaching

Also new this year is our head coach, Grey Bremer. Grey is no stranger to the Seals as he was our assistant coach last season. He is currently in his second year at Old Dominion University majoring in Sports Management with a minor in Exercise Science. He is also a member of ODU's Division 1 men's swim program. Grey started his love of swimming at SHBR, he has been a proud Seal since the age of 7. He also swam year round with the local swim club, Potomac Marlins, for over 10 years. Grey is looking forward to sharing his passion and knowledge of swimming with the Seals and making 2024 a great summer season!

We are currently in the process of hiring assistant coaches. If you know anyone who might be interested, please let us know.

Registration + Schedule

Please note the SHBR activities fee is to be paid on your esoft account.

We are still working out our official practice schedule and it will come out soon. The first day of practice will be the afternoon of Tuesday, May 28. Time trials will be the morning of Saturday, June 8. Morning practices will begin on Monday, June 17. A full schedule can be found on SwimTopia (note, times are not final).

Aquatics Day + Gear

Our aquatics day will be held on Sunday, May 19 from 3-5 pm. Mark your calendars and come out and meet the coaches and buy your team suit, fins, goggles and more!! Note: we will use the same team suit as last season and you can also purchase directly through Sport Fair in Arlington. This season we are asking our swimmers to bring their own fins. 

A full gear shop will be open later this spring. However, if you are interested in ordering a personalized cap, please do so as soon as possible as these need to be ordered ahead of the season. Click here to order.
