Head Coaches
Grey Bremer
Hi, I’m Grey, a junior at Old Dominion University, where I compete as a Division I swimmer. I’m majoring in Sports Management and have a strong passion for athletics and mentoring young swimmers. I’ve been part of SHBR my entire life—first as a swimmer, and now as a coach—so this program means a lot to me. It’s where I fell in love with the sport, and I’m excited to now help inspire the next generation of swimmers here. Outside of the pool, I enjoy staying active, traveling, and finding ways to give back to the swimming community.
Allan Engstrom
Hi, I’m Coach Allan, and I’m excited to be your SHBR coach this summer! As a proud SHBR Seals alum, I swam for the team for 10 years and currently hold the 15–18 pool record in the 50 fly. Over the past few years, I’ve coached in the SHBR winter program, served as a junior coach and then assistant coach, and am now stepping into the co-head coach role for the summer. I’m also a Division I swimmer at Davidson College, where I continue to compete at a high level. I’m passionate about helping young swimmers grow in skill, confidence, and love for the sport. I can’t wait to see you at the pool this summer!
