Season Overview

The summer swim team season runs from Memorial Day through early August as follows: 

• Pre-season: Memorial Day ice cream social, afternoon practices, apparel ordering. Parents attend NVSL training as meet officials and are coordinating their volunteer schedule. 
• Meets: In mid-June Time Trials through end-July Divisional Championships. Practices shift to morning once school is out. There are plenty of social events too from pasta party to doughnut days, the swim-a-thon and a parent appreciation party.
• Post-Season: NVSL Individual All Star qualifiers continue practice and compete in the All Star meet the first week in August.
• Off Season: Team Representatives are planning for next summer by hiring coaches, attending to NVSL league items, and working with the SHBR Board for scheduling.
